Supply List for 2018-2019
Mandatory: Pens, Pencils, 3 ring binder, Composition notebook, Dividers, Loose-leaf paper, Flash drive
Optional: Printer paper, Tissue, Hand sanitizer, Expo markers

Teachers may give more detailed supply list on the first day of school.

Southern Union is offering a free 4 day summer camp to expose students to our technical programs. This is a great opportunity for students who might be interested in a dual enrollment program to get a deeper understanding of our technical courses. Report Card Pick-up Dates/Times

Wednesday, May 30th & Thursday, May 31st

Monday, June 4th – Thursday, June 7th

8:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M.

Student or parent must be present to pick up the report card.  Report cards will not be given to siblings.


*Tryouts for the VHS Cross Country team will be today Thursday, May 17th after school. Meet in Coach Engram's room (214). You must have a current physical on file in order to participate in the tryout. You may come to the meeting but cannot participate at this time if you do not have a physical. Come join VHS Cross Country!

*Valley Soccer Try Outs are Monday and Tuesday of the last week of school May 21st & 22nd girls at 3:30 on the football practice field behind the high school and boys at 4:30. You must have a current physical. Be apart of the Valley United Soccer Program!

*See Mrs. Brown during homeroom and in between classes before 4th period to purchase your yearbook for $65.00.

*Southern Union will be offering two classes on the Valley Campus that will lead into Industrial Electricity/Electronics Program or Manufacturing Technology Program. This class is for current juniors who will be seniors for the 2018-2019 School year. This program comes with a scholarship opportunity so there is no cost to students. If you are interested, please sign up in the counselor's office. You may sign up with your English teacher also.

*Any student wishing to become an office aide for the 2018-2019 school year my sign up in the attendance office, counselor's office, or in the main office. Students must have an overall 70 average, no truancy issues, and no discipline referrals.
