It was a beautiful event where families had the chance to connect with local mental health resources and support. A huge shoutout to our school counselor, Mr. Rob, and the mental health coordinator for Chambers County, Sheila Leverette, for coordinating such a meaningful experience for our school community! #MentalHealthMatters #CommunitySupport #EastsideCares

Our “Empathy Heart” project was a big hit—students shared how bullying makes others feel, writing their thoughts on colorful notes and forming a giant heart on the wall. We also welcomed Dr. Wendy Troop-Gordon from Auburn University, who inspired everyone with her talk about building empathy and supporting each other.
Thank you to all our students, staff, and families for helping us create a caring and welcoming school community! #BullyingPreventionMonth #Empathy #EastsideProud
